RAILSPUR
Railspur is a mixed-use property in Seattle’s historic Pioneer Square neighborhood. Comprising of four brick warehouse buildings built in the early 20th century, the block is divided by alleyways developed for retail and public events. Chad collaborated with Interior Architects and SHED Architecture & Design to bring the Railspur brand to life. The visual identity pays homage to Pioneer Square’s industrial roots with unfettered typographic treatments influenced by the faded ghost signs on the sides of the brick buildings. Vintage and new imagery of the property were used throughout the system to reinforce the tagline “Defined by History, Designed for the Future”.
